Terms of Service
Last updated 15 September 2026
Relay answers your leads for you. You stay responsible for what those answers say and for the work you take on. We charge per lead, billed weekly. You can stop whenever you like, and you can take your data with you.
These terms are the agreement between Click&Fix Tech LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates Relay, and the business or person using it (“you”). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Relay does
Relay connects to your lead platform account, reads new leads and messages, and replies on your behalf using an AI model configured from the details you provide. It can also text you, call you, book appointments on a calendar you connect, and let you reply by text message.
Relay is a tool that acts under your instructions. It is not a marketing agency, a call-answering service, or a guarantee of work.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register. Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
One account represents one business or group of businesses you own or are authorised to manage. Do not use Relay to send messages on behalf of a business you have no relationship with.
3. Messages sent in your name
This is the part that matters most, so it is stated plainly: messages Relay sends go out under your business name, and you are responsible for them. That includes prices, availability, promises about timing, and anything a customer reasonably relies on.
AI models make mistakes. They can misread a question, state something you would not have stated, or answer confidently and wrongly. Relay gives you controls to manage that, and you can rehearse replies before going live, review every conversation, take over any lead, pause the AI for one customer or all of them, set escalation keywords, and cap how many times it replies. You are expected to use them and to keep an eye on what goes out.
You agree not to configure Relay to send anything unlawful, misleading, harassing, or in breach of your lead platform's own rules.
4. Text messages and calls
If you give us your mobile number and tick the consent box, Relay texts you about your leads and may call you when a customer needs you. Reply STOP to any message to stop the texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Stopping the texts does not close your account.
If you switch on messaging your own customers by SMS, you are the sender for the purposes of telecoms rules in your area, and you are responsible for having the right to text those people.
Relay lead alerts: SMS programme
Carriers require these terms to be stated plainly and on their own, rather than folded into a general agreement, so here they are.
- What you get: Relay texts you when a new lead arrives, when a customer replies, and when Relay answers on your behalf. You reply to the same number to answer your customer.
- Who it goes to: only you, the account holder, at the mobile number you entered yourself during setup. We never text your customers from this number.
- How you opt in: by ticking an unticked box during setup, next to wording that says what you are agreeing to. The account works without it.
- Frequency: varies with your lead volume, typically a few messages per lead.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. Relay does not charge you for the texts themselves.
- Opting out: reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT to any message. Reply START to start again.
- Help: reply HELP or INFO, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your data: we do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy.
5. Third-party accounts
Relay works by connecting to accounts you already have: your lead platform, and optionally a calendar. You grant those connections and can revoke them at any time, from Relay or from the provider. We are not responsible for those services, their pricing, their availability, or changes they make. If a provider changes or withdraws access, parts of Relay may stop working.
Charges those platforms make to you, including what you pay them per lead, are between you and them, and are not part of what you pay us.
6. Payment
Relay charges for each lead it answers, and bills weekly through Stripe. The rates are shown in the app before you add a card: a standard price per answered lead, and a lower one for every lead past the weekly threshold. There is no monthly fee, and a week with no leads costs nothing.
You can stop any time from the billing page. Leads Relay has already answered are billed on the next weekly invoice, and nothing is charged after that. We do not refund a lead that was answered, except where the law requires it or where we have plainly got something wrong. Ask, and we will be reasonable about it.
Free trials and complimentary access are given at our discretion and can end at the stated time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice before increasing the price of a plan you are on.
7. Availability
We work to keep Relay running but do not promise uninterrupted service. It may be unavailable for maintenance, for reasons at a provider we depend on, or because of faults. Relay is not a substitute for monitoring your own leads, and you should not rely on it as the only way you find out that a customer has been in touch.
8. Your data
You keep ownership of your business information and your customer data. You grant us the licence needed to run the service: to store it, process it, and send it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, including the AI provider that drafts replies.
You can export your leads and conversations while your account is active. If you close your account, ask us within 30 days and we will send you a copy.
9. Suspension and closing an account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to send unlawful or abusive messages, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
10. Liability
Relay is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost leads, or indirect or consequential loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use Relay after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you would rather not, cancel before then.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, and the courts of Maryland have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either of us may seek an injunction wherever it is needed.
